i've had my buddy icon for quite a number of years, it annoyed the shit out of me, strawberry shortcake flashing into different shortcake pictures every fifteenish seconds. now my current icon stays. it's not pretty, rather corny actually, but at least it doesn't flash and annoy the crap out of the people I rarely IM!
