I know! It was so intense. I kept having to tell myself: "It's okay, this isn't a Joss Whedon show." But I still didn't quite believe it until the two of them walked out of the building.
Favorite line, though: "Javier? You're going to name a white Irish kid Javier?"
It was a stressful episode despite the fact that I knew they wouldn't kill our beloved characters.
While I love how they did the episode it really felt different from the other episodes of the past. It wasn't the same kind of investigating at all. Still it worked for me.
I kind of wish we'd learn more about the characters themselves. We know a lot about Castle and Beckett. I just wish we saw more of Javi and Ryan.
I was right there with you. I knew it would end up all right, but that really didn't take away from the tension and angst, and oh, the utter heartbreak of Ryan and Jenny on the phone...
