Some of you all may remember that cheesy Prell shampoo commercial (I think it was Prell) where they're shooting a movie and the woman keeps shooting the same scene in the rain saying, "Our crops are saved

I wish it woul;d rain in Austin. My creek has run dry!

We were cheated with last night's rain predictions. The storms just skirted to west of us. All we received were two claps of thunder.

Hopefully we'll get some storms over the next few days.

It's one of the main reasons I moved North. I hate the heat.

Up here in Yankee Heaven, or Boston as everyone else calls it, it was in the 90s yesterday. And will be throughout the week.

The only saving grace is that our hot season only lasts about 6 weeks, and we get five seasons (mud comes between winter and spring).

You can thank me. I went out in the front yard in Denton yesterday after work and made sure to water my peppers. Just to make sure it would rain.

it was finally warm here last weekend, but I think I'd be over heat heat heat really quick if it was constant.
