Me too. Around here, 90F is considered hot, and it's been 95F+ for more than a month consistently. We maybe, MAYBE, get a week of 90F weather every summer, but this summer has been ridiculous.
And I know how HUMID Tennessee can get which makes it infinitely worse. I used to visit my great aunt in Knoxville and she had very little of the house air conditioned in the summer. We used to go to the Smokey Mts to get away from the heat.
Because of the smog and all the visitors to the Smokey Mountains (Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg mostly), there is some sort of temperature inversion going on up there now. It's actually not any cooler to go to the mountains. It was hot as hell when my buck fuddy and I were up there in June.
I know! It's like you don't even want to watch the news anymore because the forecast is "HOT", "FUCKING HOT", "HOT", "MUTHA FUCKIN' HOT". I envy those people that talk about summer cookouts and picnics - I'm lucky if I get from car to house without collapsing!
