Some of the more important ones:

I'm not a big city girl.  I'm not a country girl, either, but that's beside the point.  Can I live in a booming metropolis?

Could I live a high rise apartment (if we lived off post) and have no green space?

Would I need to try for an on post house/duplex with a wee little yard?

Bryan finally heard back regarding the job choice list he received.  He's stuck with that list.  And, the gist he got, if he pushes for a better job, they'll look for something, but then he'll have to take that single option, rather than from the list.  And he'd get no say in the location (they'd probably stick us someplace cold, dark, and isolated ( Read more... )

I forgot to mention that Cora and Mac have loved receiving Christmas cards this year, especially the ones with pictures.  The pretty religious cards get carried around for a little while, but family pictures get toted around for days.  Ladybluestar's children's pics ended up pretty mangled after a few days, but Cora and Mac loved asking who they ( Read more... )

With the exception of my minor finishing touches, all of our house projects are done.  Through the course of our four and a half years here, we have put our mark on every single room in the house.  EVERY SINGLE ONE.  Now all I have to do is some touch up painting in the living room and some caulking and painting in the kitchen.  Hopefully I'll ( Read more... )
