On the 6th of August Athletic played a friendly against Tottenham Hotspur in London, and since it was also a welcome opportunity to see blue_eyed_miss again, there was no way I was going to miss that.
Glad you enjoyed this post! I wish you had been able to go too! Imagine how much fun that would have been! I was thinking of you so often while we were there! You would definitely have enjoyed it LOTS.
*-* You're totally right. My sister was just looking with me and I was like 'Älook, Gorka... Gorka *scrollscroll* more Gorka... Gorka...' and she's like 'There are other guys there as well'... and I'm like 'NO! *pout*' LOL
What I got out of this post was totally forgotten by the end where all I could see was Javi's back. All coherent thoughts forgotten. Brain can only process "mmm Javi. So hot" which is clearly not a complex thought.
Completely understandable. I was like O__________O when I spotted Javi walking towards the exit without his shirt. And then, once I'd overcome my dumbfoundedness, I couldn't take pics fast enough. If I had a better camera, I'd probably have taken 20 close-ups. XDDD
Javi's back.. bringing sexy back? Sorry, brain is too addled to offer a more intelligent comment. And too busy swooning over the hint of hip-dips in that last picture.

Ahem. Anyway. As I was saying, before your pictures caused my brain to go off the rails... I simply MUST make sure I go see Athletic next time they're in England, because it looks like it was SO much fun! Despite the loss. (Obviously I'll try to go when I'm in Spain, too, but I dunno how much I can escape from Madrid... hmm.)
Also I love that Euskadi NT jersey. A lot. Where do you even get them? Because it would go fabulously with my green Athletic shirt XD
Yes, well, imagine what went on in my brain when I spotted Javi parading half-naked in front of me. (Well, not actively parading, but you know. XD) I was probably gaping like a fish for quite a while and thinking "OMG!" a hundred times before my mind functioned again and told me to take pictures. XD
You definitely have to go next time! From what I know they have preseason matches in England every year (last year they were at Wolverhampton). :) Obviously catching a match in Spain is most recommendable, too, especially when you have the chance to go to San Mamés. The stadium is a fortress, an absolutely amazing place, and the crowd is fantastic. :)
I bought myself the Euskadi jersey when I was in Bilbao - they sell it in every sports shop there. Not sure if you can get it outside the Basque Country though, as the Euskal Selekzioa is not recognised by the FIFA and the UEFA.
Remarkable self-discipline you have, actually. I don't think I'd've even been able to hold a camera, much less point-and-shoot. :-P
I will definitely be looking into next year's preseason match (and possibly dragging a friend or three... I think I've done enough prosletyzing that it's starting to stick!), but if I get this research scholarship I'm hoping for, I'll be in Madrid for six weeks this spring... long enough to include a weekend getaway/shopping trip to Bilbao! XD XD XD
(Shopping for that Euskadi jersey, obvs. I don't think I'll be finding one in England anytime soon!)
