LOL. I loved this.

Tell me, is the Basque-Aragonese motorway the road that takes you from the airport into the Casco Viejo area of Bilbao? Because after a 5-hour delay at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris due to snowed-in conditions, I arrived in Bilbao late, only to have the taxi ride take about an hour to get to the hotel because of a huge traffic jam caused by an accident!!!! Just wondering if they have these accidents often. :(

Hehe, I remember the story about your odyssey from the airport to Bilbao! Though I doubt that you were using the Basque-Aragonese motorway for that because it follows the route Bilbao-Logroño-Zaragoza (see here) and doesn't go past Loiu (the airport). ;)

I bloody love this little detail. It reminds me (beware: tenuous academic link ahead) of Lorca's theory of Andalusian poetry, which he basically pinned to a "love of the minute" - the same sort of super up-close view that you give here, and it has the same kind of allure... /babble

I love super up-close views in fic! Too bad I'm not as talented as others who manage to include multiple gorgeous super up-close views in their fics but I'm trying my best! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it!! :D

Now I have hilariously entertaining mental images of the following morning when Iker, after a sleepless night, finally fell asleep and sleeps through everyone's alarms and nobody wakes him up and he has to make excuses at breakfast and can't look at Javi and Ander. XDDD Thank you!
