LOL! Can't read that right now because A) I don't have it and B) I'm currently reading "Don Quijote", but I'm going to put it on my list... wait, it's on the list already. XDDD Thanks!

Enjoy doing the meme!!

El Quijote... I hated it. Like so much. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Maybe because school forced me to read it fast, then I wasn't able to enjoy it, I will give it a chance in a couple years, but right now It's in my black list.

If you read The Three Musketeers be prepared to go for the other books of our heroes :P Because they are addictive! :P (Done!)

LOL! I suppose I wouldn't like it that much if I had to read it for school because it's pretty tough to read (I ordered the German translation because when I bought it I didn't feel confident enough to read the book in Spanish, and now I've started reading it I was glad I didn't buy it in Spanish because there's NO WAY I'd understand that!!), but it's also hilariously funny and I'm really enjoying it. Even though it takes me ages to read. I started before Christmas and have only reached the 6th chapter of the second part...

*goes to look*

I recommend Atonement!

I find it interesting that your school made you read Bridget Jones' Diary. Why?

Is "Atonement" the book that was made into a film?

My school didn't make me read that particular one, haha! I watched the film and thought it might be funny to read the book - but I didn't really enjoy it that much. The film is definitely better!

I'm going to do this. I'll probably bold/ italize/ underline about five books, but I'm gonna do it anyway. :P

I just realised I didn't use any italics at all! XD I guess I'm just not interested in reading any of those books unless I know what they're about (and I'm too lazy to look them all up now). XD

You can look at it this way: you don't make plans, you simply jump into action! LOL

As for recommendations, I'm reading the Harry Potter series and I like it a lot. I'm about halfway through, or I'll actually be the moment I find the 4th book in English.

"Love In the Time of Cholera" was one book I didn't expect to enjoy. I had to read it for a final and you know what's like when a book is forced upon you. :-/ I won't say I love it, but it's not that bad.

And "Dracula" is interesting, but in 2012 it lacks the effect it must have had when it was first published. After all, you know pretty much know the entire story without reading the book...

I'm not into Harry Potter at all, so I'm going to give those a miss (sorry!), and I've seen the "Love in the Time of Cholera" film and found it rather blah (I admit I only watched it for Unax Ugalde and Javier Bardem, and those two were the only good things about it!), but I must read "Dracula". Definitely. Even if I already know the story. (If it's well written, that won't matter!)

Oh, that's okay. ;) I wasn't sure what to expect about them either until I gave the first book a go.

"Dracula" is enjoyable, even if you do know the story. I liked it even though I had to read. That says something, because I can't say the same about lots of other books I read in the same circumstance.

hey, random stranger here. i was just bookmarking your new football fic to read later when i'm home from work and figured i'd pry in your journal while i was at it. that's me, being creepy.
anyways, i just wanted to say that i'm ganking this meme and crediting you. is that how this works?
and book recs? heart of darkness is divine, but trying to gauge your taste from what you've loved? i think you'd be super into philip pullman's his dark materials trilogy. fantasy ya lit, with an undercurrent of philosophy and religion.
okay. i'll leave you alone now!

Hello! :D Do feel free to pry in my journal all you want! And it makes me very happy that you read the fic! (I suck at comments, they always come ridiculously late, but I reply to every fic comment! :))

You're most welcome to steal the meme (no credit necessary, I just got it from someone else anyway!).

Thanks for your recs! "Heart of Darkness" really sounds interesting. Isn't that the book that served as inspiration for Apocalypse Now? Am going to check out your other rec as well! :D
