I recently spent two weeks in Scotland, doing a road trip (more or less) throughout the entire country, including a brief visit to some of the islands in the Outer and Inner Hebrides, and it was AWESOME. The country is breathtakingly beautiful, the people are amazing, and I had tons and tons of fun. It's probably going to take me a very long time ( Read more... )

And it totally looks like that, I didn't fiddle with the photos at all! Ah damn, I want to go back there! :D

Will definitely take a few weeks before I have the complete report and everything, but I promise it will be worth the wait! :)

Don't get me wrong the city centre is great, the architecture beautiful in places but as a whole? Glasgow is kind of a shit hole. Broken glass, rubbish and dog shit everywhere, drug and alcohol addled zombies roaming around. It is a depressing place.

Okay, I must admit we only had about half a day to spend in Glasgow so we did the sightseeing bus tour and then walked along - well, I don't remember the name of the street but it's in the West End (we stayed at a hotel near the Botanic Gardens). And I liked the street, the people seemed friendly, and all seemed pretty clean to me. But yeah, I know that places always are different when you're on holiday than when you live there. :)

OH MY GOD. It looks stunning, truly breath-taking.
And I wondered where you were! I missed you and almost sent you an email asking if you were all right. (Obviously you were.) XD

Scotland is a place I've always wanted to visit as well, seeing as my ancestors are mostly from there. But for some reason I never have, although I've been to England.

Now there's another must-see place I must add to my list!

Can't wait to see the rest of your awesome photos.♥

Prettttyyyyyyy! I've never been to Scotland, but I definitely want to go poking around, it looks lovely! (Though I'm more of the type that likes to look at buildings and wander round cities!)
