2011 has been the most interesting year of my life ever, to say the least. I've lived, laughed, loved and all of the opposite. I have met some of the most amazing people, formed some amazing friendships and made some serious changes in my life.

Thank you so much Rachel! It really means a lot to me that people are so supportive, both past and present. It's quite all right you haven't been here. You have a life to live, just as I do, and you are in a much better place for it :) Besides, I don't know how much free time I would have had to have seen you. But! This Thursday, we'll do stuff! I feel beautiful for the first time in my life

At the risk of sounding ... weird ... I've always thought you were beautiful. Glad to see that the self-image is finally catching up to the exterior!

Arwen, it doesn't sound weird at all. And I thank you very kindly for those kind and generous words. You are right, the self image was a very bad thing for me, along with a lot of emotional problems both within myself, my family and my friends. But I am taking 2011 and all of its positive and pushing it into 2012 to feel even better about myself. Maybe wear that little black dress one of these days ;)
