I recently bought a Ford Ranger pickup. I expect to be transporting more heavy things in the future and I was getting sick of the FWD in the Volvo.

I borrowed grmbrand's Ranger a few years ago and I'm glad I did. There were a couple of features that I didn't know I wanted until I drove his truck

Not yet. Once we move I'll probably replace the more elderly Volvo with an econobox of some sort.

An NRA sticker on a pickup truck isn't so funny as it is on a Volvo, though.

It was a private sale but, yes, dirt cheap.
