It is rather marvelous to be home, if a little quiet. Mother was talking about some sort of Pureblood party that she wants to throw before I go back to school. Should be fun, if it goes ahead.

Oh, of course. Not that I expect it to be any fun, but Father insists I go. Something about keeping up appearances. How tiresome.

Tiresome? Hardly. Although granted it's never quite the spectacle that the St. Mungo's gala is.
