Hmm ... I don't know. What are you bringing to the table? What's in it for me? I mean, you've got some cut little froggie icons, which is to your favour and there is the whole sisters-in-[practice of]law thing ...
Mind if I friend? I’ve seen you around making intelligent comments, and I enjoyed your fan-fic back in the day. I’m extremely disillusioned, if that helps.

Nothing wrong with whinging. ‘Twas whinging brought about the revolution! (In places where they have had revolutions, that is).
I noticed the Sayers on your reading list. I am presently a one-woman stealth campaign to raise the profile of the Wimsey fandom. Obviously this is why said profile is still very low.
I'd like to friend you. You always make me laugh with your comments on other people's journals. Not a lot happening on mine at the moment, but I'm sure I'll get around to it.
Not interesting in friending, but I'm not quite sure how else to contact you.
I read a fic of your a long time ago, "The Apparating Instructor." I really liked it. I was going through my old bookmarks, and I saw it, and I wanted to re-read it, but I can't find it anywhere. Do you still have a copy of it somewhere?
Hi, sorry for the delay in responding - I've been on a retreat without internet access for the last week and am just catching up.
I'll take a look through my old discs and see if I can find my copy of the fic - I'm happy to let you have it, but I've got to ask/make it conditional that you don't post it or upload it anywhere because I've been out of fanfic and fandom for the last two years (I realise how neurotic that sounds and apologise for any offence).
Is there an email address that you want me to send it to?
We met in sfandf - consoling each other about american postage. My lj sometimes features my writing, but it currently mostly about builders and the trials of my Imperial son.

I see you're a fellow Wimsey-worshipper, so I think it would be highly rude if I didn't friend you back!
(Standard warning is that there's a lot of whinging in my posts and some bad language - so read at your own risk).
