An apology

On behalf of Kentucky, I'd like to apologize for the disgrace we have living in the Gov's mansion. Had we known how things would turn out, we would have left Ol' Ernie alone.

At least he didn't make jokes about killing the president, unlike the current gov...

While I have to admit I did chuckle, this is embarrassing for a leader of our state to make such a good ole boy statement.

I don't think its fair to say that no Republican can do anything. How does that unite the parties to actually make a decision? What we need is both parties to acknowledge the issues the country is facing and come to a solution that both parties could agree on to solve the problem even if it may not be what they completely want, instead of, here is the democratic solution and here is the republican solution. Then nothing ever gets accomplished.

And Beshear is the one doing the hiring freeze in the community colleges. I'd like to ask him how he is solving the problems of our state's education programs when he is making it difficult for the people large numbers of students trying to get into community colleges while making it difficult for me to get a job in the community colleges. I'd like to give him a good talking to!

I want to change our state motto to "Kentucky: Unbridled Douchebaggery*"
It seems to be apt, considering the "leadership" we have in the House, Senate, and Gov's office.

*word I totally made up.
