yeah, when was the last time you saw a game that was all done in black & white? To me, this looks more like moving artwork than a game. It's the detailed backgrounds that give it so much depth. It looks like it's also using HDR for glow effects and the like (for instance, the butterfly near the beginning).

*nods* the black & white does add a great touch to the atmosphere. I agree with you on the moving art thing though. (And wouldn't have thought of describing it as such on my own. =P )
