New album due around the end of March -- Science and Honor, Bi-atch!

Last spring, I started to have a crush on someone... let's call him "Bob", for the sake of conversation.

Over the summer, I got involved with an ex, and mostly lost track of Bob.

Things didn't go quite as planned with the whole car-buying thing.  It's okay, because plans went off course in a GOOD way for a change.  As of 4 hours and about 13 minutes ago, I have a new car.  The one in the picture I'm posting isn't MINE, but mine is the same color and edition (Base, not Sport).

The loan I applied for in order to purchase a new car got APPROVED today.  I've put down a deposit on Clyde's replacement -- Ruby. =)
Also, my plane tix for MarsCon and back are PURCHASED.
And it's Friday.
Yay!

It's 2008.  I never did write out my "looking back on 2007" post.  I'm not sure if that was because of the car, or because I just didn't want to think about it.  Prolly both ( Read more... )

I got to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family last night, and didn't have to worry about rushing home afterward as I have in years past.  Not only did I not have to go into work at 2AM today... I did not have to go AT ALL!  And it's a paid holiday.  So this is the first official 4-day weekend of my career-life, and I gotta say: it rocks!

I've been listening to lots of Pushstars and Chris Trapper music lately.  Heck, I've been listening to lots of music just in general.  The commute's almost 2 hours each way now that I work in glorious Cambridge, so the car radio / CD player gets lots of use.
