Several peeps have posted about the animal rennet in chocs thing already, but Teh Graundian has put out a handy list of which of our favourite nibbles are veggie unfriendly.

And bugger it, Guinness is one of them.....*sulk*

This is one of those times that I'm glad to be a carnivore... Sorry, but I can't give up Guinness...

Sorry bout the guinness but I thought the fact that it contained bits of fish was well known!!! Dating staunch vegan animal rights activists in the past has some benefits!

So no guinness or chocs for you - I will be watching...

The export Guinness (in bottles) used to vegan... I wonder if it still is....

I just WISH these things (booze-wise) were clearly labelled, it astounds me that they don't have to be. Thank goodness for the Co-op, which labels it's own brand booze very clearly.

most wines are not veg friendly. I thought veg types knew this? it's all the fishy goodness in the refining :)

Luckily, most of the supermarkets are good at labelling the veggie friendly wine - also, most good 'traditional' French wines are also good to go (down my throat!)

I thought the more 'traditional' would be the more suspect ones! Just goes to show you :)
