Didn't they do the study in Japan where they stopped the triple jab, but autism went up exactly like everywhere else anyway? So what is there to talk about?

Yep - they dropped the triple jab and went for 3 single injections... because that's better apparently (it's what Wakefield called for).... but there was no evidence to support that decision... Not as effective as single jabs though - measles cases went up in Japan, including some which resulted in fatalities. And, as you say, autism diagnosis went up as well! That really should have been it: discussion closed. Let's get on with some real research. But no, this has become a belief issue: these people believe they are right, and no amount of data to the contrary will sway them - which makes them supa-kool mavericks, fighting for the children against the unjust system... Hmmm, show me the data!

Oh, you know, the usual volatile mix of clinicians with a vested interest and a nice bung from a law firm, and journalists whose science understanding could be printed in block capitals on a gnat's foreskin ( ... )
