The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Are you and your husband still going by Tyger and Froggy, or do you use your given names most often now?

I'm also trying to remember if you still live in the same house that you did in 2003 - or was that Froggy who lived there - and did Tod &/or The_Kat also live there - and who actually owned the house and who was renting? And where are you & Froggy now compared to that?

I swear there was formatting in that comment. I hope that it's still there and just not visible in my app.

I moved to Cleveland in 1999, Paul and Tod had an apartment in Shakey Heights.
In 2000 Tod bought a house in Cleveland Heights, Paul lived in my apartmen in Shaker Heights for a short time as Tod was getting the house. I basically lived there when Paul moved in and I officially moved in when my lease was up, June 2000.
In December 2002 we moved to an apartment in Lakewood.
In January 2005 we moved into our house in Lakewood.

Hey, better late than never, right?

When we found out I was pregnant I came up with the most amazing name that seemed so perfect: Duncan Joseph. We had a great friend named Duncan who passed away at a far to young age from a brain cancer, my dad's name is Joseph, Paul's dad's middle name is Joseph, and the initials would have been DJS (Duncan was a DJ).

Then we found out it was a girl, and we hit a wall.

We kept coming back to Alexis, but both though that Alexis was too popular a name. I wanted something that could be gender neutral or nicknamed gender neutral. We'd somewhat settled on Eris (Greek goddess of discord) for a middle name because we knew this was going to be an addition of chaos in our life. We had quite a list of names, spent many many hours pouring over name sites, and I can't even remember what the other runner ups were at this point, but as I was holding her we just felt like Alexa was going to fit and went with it.
