Lol. Well I guess because of my over pop-cultured mind I was expecting cheap Hollywood theatrics with mass explosions of various kinds and cheesy horror movie scenes, the works ^_^

Heh heh, well, yeah. I guess Westerners expect that a lot. Me, too. I can't really say I'm disappointed that the end of the world didn't happen, but I will say that nobody in Bangkok seemed to notice the date...and for Japan it's the year 17 or 18, sooooo...
