I think these lyrics could be about two things: 1. About an artist who always gives up, perhaps because they never feel what they produce is good enough. However the narrator is saying this isn't so, trying to communicate to never give up. 2. Falling in and out of love. How sometimes are heart strays because we need a new beginning. And other times because we need different passion.
Anyway, I'm not good at figuring out this kind of stuff. I always think everything is about love.

No, I am not adopted. I was born in the U.S. of A. to Korean parents. I have been to Korea several times and was lucky enough to grow up speaking Korean and eating Korean food.
i don't ever think i'll meet someone that i am completely-100% overwhelmed by. i'm so picky never ever totally satisfied with anyone i've dated. (except you know, when i was a dumb kid).
I was in the same place as you until I met my Clyde. I had lost all faith that love would ever be a part of my life. But that's the wonderful thing about life. There is always the possibility of the unexpected.
oh i am pretty sure i've been in love. and have loved most of the people i have dated. but there always seems to a few details that are missing from what i really want. i usually just push them aside and don't worry about them. but then when i'm single i think, damn, i need to someone that hits all the details on the list... aka PERFECTION
