The car search continues, frustratingly so. Now we are thinking we will wait until the 2007 models come as it may give us more bargaining power. Also we are expanding our search to include the Toyota Yaris and some Scion car.

So someone on my friendslist was also looking to buy a Yaris. Did you buy it? How is it?

No, not yet. I don't think they've arrived en masse yet. You generally have to wait until June or so.

My sister is also looking at getting one. You can go to Toyota online and check out the specs, as well as tell THEM what you want to pay, even as far as interest goes, and they will call you back and let you know how they can work with that.

Good luck! Shopping for cars is anything but fun.

PS I saw a 2 door Yaris yesterday and it was painfully small and I know they are more $$ than the Elantra with less features

I don't like the commercials for the Yaris. Don't get one.

I realize that wasn't helpful at all. I agree with the person above me... the new Elantras are pretty nice and relatively affordable.
