Hope all of this works out...not sure what happened, but yeah...I can see your point of not wanting to be a hub for conflict...

protect yourself from the nastiness, yup! And keep your sanity at the same time!!
I know lately a lot of my posts have gone friends only, when I used to have everything in "public" mode. Sucks, but it is much easier on the mind when you know who is reading what...

Good Luck on the changes here!!
And ya know, I usually see your posts from "my view" in the friends section...just popped into your journal and my WORD, you have a GORGEOUS layout!!! Love those colors :)

Can't say that I blame you. I try to keep it very tight as far as who sees my stuff as well. Still I think I've got holes in my system mainly due to just not knowing LJ well enough. I just don't have the time to learn yet another system/software/site/computer thingie. I hope I'm still on the friends list.

Sucks that you have to go friends only, but sometimes you need to go make sure no trolls stop by. Hope this helps clear up things. I almost went friends only, but then I have too many non-lj friends who read my journal who I want to include. Oh well.
