This whole thing is just getting annoying.
Please take Adam off your friends list. He's asked nicely, and it has nothing to do with pushing you around. It has to do with his desire to simply be removed.

Go ahead...click the damned button and get it over with already.

If you go to your main journal homepage, click on manage, push over to "friends" you can go to your friends page.
Then you click the checkbox next to ajbrown, and hit the "delete Friend" button.
