Belated happy birthday - maybe you're in better shape to enjoy it over the weekend anyway? I didn't manage to post you good wishes, but LJ dutifully reminded me so I was thinking about you! Our puppy is spending Valentine's Day at the vet for spaying and shots, and we're having friends over for pizza and a movie tonight rather than fight the amateur dinner crowd.

Heh, that's what my friend Bruce calls it. He is something of a foodie and travels a lot, so he avoids odd holidays that bring people to restaurants that aren't accustomed to dining out. Amateurs. The ponytail helps him say this without being snobby. :)
