Yes commutes suck, but if the position is about teaching you and pays more money, it might be worthwhile. Besides commuting on the subway means you can read books, or the paper, or listen to music, or play nintendo ds. So it isnt all bad right?!
life is short. take the job your heart feels better about. geneva is retardedly NOT the logical, reasonable choice for me, but it's what i crave. do what u crave.
I think you should take which ever job you think you most want for your own reasons(simpler commute, less stress, learning more, more exciting case, better people etc), other than feeling bad about turning down something you verbally accepted. Things happen its part of the finding jobs/people process. You will be able to apply yourself more to the place you choose for the right reasons and get the most out of the internship.
