1) Depending on the farm we still might be able to get in
2) I'd be interested in splitting a share or half-share

I think Barb & Randy still have shares available (funky little farm) and it looks like Harmony Valley also has shares available.

I'm not seeing where Harmony Valley has shares, and Funky Little Farm looks good...

but when it comes right down to it; this is not in my budget right now. :(

Your nearest co-op will probably have CSA info in the spring. Ours has a little CSA fair where all the CSAs come and hand out brochures.

We've got Philadelphia Community Farms right now, but I don't remember how much it cost because Katie handled signing us up.

We use Harmony Valley and we LOVE them. www.harmonyvalleyfarm.com. It's a lot of food - we split with friends. Harmony Valley will even bill two parties separately for one share. They also will do a monthly auto-deduct that spreads the cost out all year. They also have organic cheese share (AMAZINGLY good and well-priced), fruit shares, coffee shares, and they do organic/pasture-fed meat a few times a year. They have several pick-up sites in the Cities. I'd definitely sign up early if you're particular about where it would be convenient, as some sites fill up early.
