Okay, I've only got the most vague bits, so I suspect I watched this movie on Saturday afternoon broadcast TV or caught it on cable many years ago, so I don't really expect that anyone's got the answer, but it never hurts to try ( Read more... )

The vampire movie might be Near Dark, possibly one of the greatest vampire movies ever because they never actually say the word "vampire..."

I looked up the synopsis, and it doesn't seem to be the one I saw.

BUT, I love vampire movies (I'll even watch bad ones. Dracula 3000 is a total fail, even though the idea had promise -- "In space, the sun never rises") so I'll see if I can get my hands on it.
