Far be it for me to use a public forum to insult another pet, particularly when I know the burn that can be caused by the bloodsport of libel, but I have an issue with the_big_q, who, for those of you who do not know, is the cat of one Mr. Kevin Richardson. I believe he is officially my pet-in-law

You bring up a valid point, Tyke. Too often pets and children are meshed together in the same category. Animal movies are a good example. I'm not sure why other pets can't be as intriguing as you are, but that's why you're special. Don't worry about the others.

Sure, far be it from me to express what I want to in my journal without succumbing to the pretentiousness of others. Just because I have yet to discuss the stock market or current and past Russian literature does not mean I'm ignorant or uneducated. We can go ahead and play chess when you come over, but if you're going to have this attitude, I'd rather curl up in the sun and take a nap.
