Ready to call it a night, he exited the office restroom with a sigh and prepared for his nightly routine when a figure standing by the window stopped him in his tracks. It wasn’t the first time something like that had happened-many potential clients had stumbled in at the last minute, looking for represenation-but something told him that wasn’t the case this time. Immediately, his hair stood on end.
“Can I help you?”

The Noah looked quite different than he had the last time he and Phoenix had talked. Though his face was the same, his skin was dark instead of pale, and there was a row of what looked like old puncture scars across his forehead. His eyes were gold like a cat's, and instead of a uniform he wore a Victorian-style outfit, from the top hat on his head to the white gloves on his hands.

He spread his hands. "I came to invite you to join me for dinner, if you don't have anything pressing upon you, tonight?"
