Tyki lay on the bed, listening, and swearing softly in a low, angry voice. The sounds of battle had started a few hours after his failed attempt to access the community, but he didn't connect the two together

Well, that ride sucked. By the time that she had infiltrated the Ark, several of the lower level Akuma had spotted her. Her normal bullets had to be charged with some of her demonic lightning. God dammit, and the new backless corset had been a bad idea.
She had destroyed her fifth soul before she realized that it would be easier to start going into buildings. Though easier said than done. She thought that maybe calling out their names wouldn't be such a good idea. She felt bad for Tyki, she knew what it was like to be on the wrong side and not have a choice for it.
Plus, another horde and she'd go into devil trigger mode and that would be bad for everyone. Regeneration had been slower than usual, but that was because she was degenerating.
Tyki was trapped in the hospital section, listening to the explosions and cursing his own helplessness. Finally he called the guard outside his door.
"What's going on?" he demanded.
"Noah-sama, some one has invaded the Ark," the Akuma said worriedly.
"Who is it? An Exorcist?"
"Don't know... don't think so. I don't sense Innocence." The Akuma was wringing its claws. "But it's killing Akuma, so it has to be an Exorcist..."
"Fuck..." Tyki murmured. He sat up carefully, pressing his hand to the mark on his chest, a huge black scar in the shape of a cross. "I want you to tell the other Akuma to lead whoever it is here. I'll handle it."
"B-but Noah-sama, you can't...I mean you... you're...um..."
Tyki's face turned ugly. "I'm. What?" he snarled.
"N-nothing! Yes, Noah-sama. Right away, Noah-sama!" The Akuma scurried off.
Tyki leaned against the wall and closed his eyes, waiting.
Trish sat at the top of the hospital tower, feeling some faint glow of power. The sparks around her started to dance, and she had figured out that she had gotten close. The level two and the level one akumas were the least of her worries, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was happening.
She had some demonic healing amulets for him, and a gold orb to heal him enough on the surface to move. She only hoped that the demonic energy didn't harm enough. She caught sight of two akuma behind her, and fired some electric volleys before she was forced off of the top.
The Akuma had changed their tactics. They weren't attacking now, but instead seemed to be trying to herd Trish. They had gotten her to the hospital tower, and now they led her inside, popping out of rooms and then running down the corridors, laughing and firing sprays of bullets back towards her, then disappearing again.
Finally there was a room ahead of her, the door half-open, and no Akuma in sight. Tyki heard the footsteps and had heard the fighting coming even closer.
He'd also heard the crackle of electricity. He opened his eyes, frowning. He'd known it was someone from the community the moment he'd heard there was someone attacking who had no Innocence. And there was only one person he knew who used electricity.
"Trish?" he called from inside the room Trish had been lead to, his voice a rasp as if he'd been screaming too long. "Is that you?" But a better question was why.

Dammit, Tyki, where are you?
