Notes and Random Stuff
I'd like to thank you, the reader for even daring to venture onto this page. It's going to be a combination of random stuff and do feel free to leave questions here if there's anything you can't understand.
Disclaimer: I don't ice skate nor play ice hockey, so all the technical information relating to both sports I used for the fic came from wikipedia, the ISU website and the NHL rulebook for ice hockey. For the medical/biological related information, some I've studied before and others I consulted med school friends (or used google).
Anyway, there are several people I'd like to thank:
argentum_luna - my all-too-busy supposed beta for reminding me to stop writing convoluted stuff and keeping my writing short over MSN whenever I gave her a word count update... it still ended up crazily long though.. XD
crunchy_salad - my fic artist for the two pictures.. thank you so much.. i wasn't even expecting anyone to draw stuff for the fic
gw_shenlong & skylark92 - two authors from the GW fanverse that I follow. Shenlong's Equine Intervention Arc (http://www.gundam-wing-diaries.150m.com/gw/ShenLong/gw_Shenlong.htm) and Skylark's Blood, Sweat and Tears (http://mizunoamy.bravepages.com/skylark/skylarkfics.html), both sports based fics set in the GW-verse, were my inspiration for attempting to write a sports based fic using Bleach-verse characters, since I don't actually remember coming across something like that in the Bleach-verse just yet. I do hope I didn't screw up the fic though...
rii_no_ame - i'd also like to thank rii for her support since I was balancing fic writing and finals and something happened, and while it isn't resolved yet, it was good to have someone hear me out
I'd also like to apologies for any inadequecies in the fic. Due to various reasons (in particular, stupid college midterms spread out over many weeks) I only actually started writing towards the end of November, although I had already done up the plot and character outlines in September, which also meant I had to finish it in between finals this month. (Thank God for a long break between papers) It might read a little awkwardly between chapters, since I took breaks between them and my story plots tend to diverge from their original vague plans anyway.... >.>

I actually made up Rukia's routine on the spot, since I am familiar with the two pieces I had her using (practiced both on the piano before). It might be kinda obvious that I only have bits and pieces of the full set of elements. Didn't bother for the rest. I included cameos from other manga/anime stuff that I've read though.. Think I've got about 10. =P

For the columns, the first column is their position: FW - forward, DF - defence, GK - goalkeeper. The second column is their year of study: SN - senior, JN - junior, SO - sophomore, FM - freshman. The last column, which some don't have, is the first and alternate team distribution: F - first team, A - alternate team. I don't actually play ice hockey, but from what I could understand, it should be common to have a first and alternate teams during practice. The other team members can be substituted for the first and alternate team members when required.
