So Hawai'i is pretty much the coolest place ever. Its my favorite place in the world.

Warning: There's a hell of a lot of pictures

I condensed the pictures to make it less big and crowded and all.
So our plane left on a sunday, and we got there too late to do much. it was already like 9 at night when we landed. So i'll skip to monday

Monday- We hung out at the beach

view from our condo.

the mountain/island in the background is Molokai. One of Maui's satellite islands.

the beach in front of our condo. the water was so clear, i could be up to my neck in the ocean and still see my feet clearly. the water was as blue as it gets.

sunsets there were so pretty. all you chicks would melt when you see them. you'd just be like "aww its so pretty. "

Tuesday- there's a town on the far eastern side of maui called Hana (not pronounced Hannah), but there is only one road that takes you to Hana. It just so happens to be the curviest, narrow, yet scenic and prettiest road I've ever been on. Since the road is sometimes only one lane, and the speed limit is 10 (no joke) because of all the blind curves and all that, it takes like 3 hours to get to Hana. But theres a bunch of waterfalls and scenic things on the way, so with all of our stops, it took us like 6 or 7 hours.

this is a stream we had to cross to get to a couple of waterfalls. it was so pretty there.

stopped in a place called Hamoa Village. That place was pretty cool:

koki beach.

kevin looking adventurous.

Kevin me and Kyle at Koki Beach.

then we got to hana, had lunch. drove back.

Wa'inapanapa black sand beach. It was so cool.

Wednesday- we got picked up by a tour group. they take you to the top of Haleakala (the worlds largest dormant volcano), over in east maui. Once you get to the top, you look around for a minute or two if you want, then you ride your bike down. It was by far, the coolest bike ride i've ever been on. And i've been on a lot of bike rides.

This was the view of the valley, where a lot of the cities and towns are, and the volcano on east maui, from about 1/3 of the way up Haleakala.

This is from the top of Haleakala, looking down into the crater. Thats where all the lava comes out. like you can see where it carved all that stuff. Which means the whole concept you might have had about there being one single hole on top of the volcano isnt true. Sorry to burst your bubble, crash your kite. And yes, those are clouds. We were above the clouds. Then we rode our bikes down.

Dad, Amy, Kyle, Me, and Kevin about 4/5 of the way down the mountain. we stopped for lunch here.

And we stopped by a pineapple farm. Me kyle kevin and amy.

The rest of that day, we just hung out at the beach.

Thursday- We just relaxed that day, we were tired from the bike ride and stuff.

We just hung out at the beach.

That was the pathway from the elevator to the beach. I thought it looked cool.

Threw the frisbee some. Thats kevin diving for it. Cuz he's extreme like that.

Thats the condo place we stayed at. Our building is the one on the far right, that you can only see a part of it. We were on the 10th floor, far right corner. So you cant really see our room. But it had a hell of a view.

Friday- Early in the day we got some snorkel gear from a shop called Snorkel Bob's. then we went to Honolua Bay and Moluka'i Bay and snorkeled and stuff. Then that night we went to a luau.

Hey some fish!

You cant really tell, but there was a really long fish under there. Not like a dangerous one, just a really skinny, anorexic-esque fish.

Snorkel Tyler.

Like four or five of those guys followed me around for a while. And whenever i'd turn around to see if they were still following me, they'd stop and look around. Then keep following me. I swear, ask kevin.

At one point, a school of fish was swimming like a foot or two away from us, and then a couple of small fish circled me and kevin for a minute or two, but then when we started swimming again they just kinda left.

There were so many cool looking fish there. Me and kevin saw this one fish that was pretty big, and it was black on top, like on its dorsal area, to be scientific, but then as you went down its side it turned blue, it was so cool.

Then the luau!

Hula girls!

Shake it! haha.

Us kids at the luau: Me Kevin Amy Kyle.

Its mind blowing how fast these girls can shake. Even if you're not into chicks, you'd be like "Wow! They can shake themselves really fast! This is mind blowing!"

Me at the luau, doing the Hang Loose sign thing, with this neato drink in the other hand.

And then for all you girls, the sunset at the luau.

Saturday- we went horseback riding in the morning, had lunch halfway up a mountain, then went back down. spent the rest of the day at the beach.

Cowboy Tyler. Giddyup.

The family: Amy Kyle Mom Me Dad Kevin.

The view while riding horses.

Head 'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, let 'em out

Then after that, we went back to the condo and spent the afternoon and day at the beach.

Kevin catching the frisbee.

Me on the beach. If you look at the condo behind me, on the far right side, go ten stories up, you'd find our condo.

the sunset, again.

And then i thought i'd toss in this picture of kevin, cuz it looks funny:

Hahaha. The flower in his hair, with the beer in his hand, and his shirt off make a funny combination.

Ok thats it.
