She did feel guilty about reading his mind that time in the gym. It wasn't fair. She wouldn't have liked it herself. The problem was it was so easy, and not doing it was more of an effort. And anger makes you do stupid things. She assumed Tyler thinking she was a freak was one of them, since he didn't usually think that.
The problem was more that she doubted herself and whether she was up do this being a girlfriend thing at all.
Still, she did miss Tyler. Quite a lot, actually. And after reading that letter she decided perhaps trying to talk would be a good thing.
She made her way to the Stickbug cabin and paced nervously outside for a minute before opening the door.

"Hey. So you came," he said, opening the door wider. "Living room's over there, I could make coffee or something..."

He went over to prepare two mugs, making an effort to keep his mind bare of all except the necessary thoughts. I am calm, I am peaceful, I am at home with the me.
He returned with the coffee and a handful of sugar packets. "I don't think there's milk," he said apologetically, as he took a seat on the couch.
