After an examination at the musuem, it wasn't long before Tyler was politely blindfolded and put into the backseat of the car. The Flying Squirrel leans into the back of the Panda-Mobile to gently shake Tyler's shoulder. "Rise an' shine, short stuff. We're here."

The Lair isn't nearly as cavernous or spooky as that of a certain caped crusader whose name we won't mention for legal reasons. It is, however, quite clear at first glance that they're in an underground cave, albeit one with electrical lights above and a poured concrete floor below. The car is parked on a set of metal rails, of the sort seen in professional garages. One wall is lined with little person-sized niches labeled "Downtown," "Business District," "Waterfront," et cetera; the other walls are lined with workbenches and racks containing tools of all sorts.

There are three other dark openings in the cave walls leading to parts unknown. It is into one of these that Tyler is quickly ushered.

"...whoa." Not Quite the same as a Revenant Lair, but it certainly does come close. Heck this place could be a close counterpart to one of them, all it's missing is the Computer screens.

...which would make sense computers prrrrrobably haven't been invented yet.

Not to say Tyler isn't impressed.

"We'll do what we can to make you comfortable here," says the Red Panda as he guides Tyler down the dimly-lit passage into another cavern, smaller than the first. This one is full of filing cabinets, stand-up bulletin boards covered with maps and newspaper clippings, and tables piled high with odd gizmos that wouldn't look out of place in Dr. Positron's lab. "We don't make a habit of entertaining guests."

"Not like you guys had any warning that I was coming here," Tyler says, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, and looking around at his surroundings a little more closely. "Thank you for putting up with me, sir."
