today i fasted. i guess you could call me a Fast Lady. those guys (first band i saw in england... all dressed like skelator) were cooler than mimes. tough love.
sunset walk with my ladies around by the train tracks, and i LOVE the train tracks, and sunsets so it was refreshing. saw lots of bunnies, like everywhere.
also i reached the breaking point of my vegan submissiveness today in my communial flat kitchen upon stumbling upon a kitchen floor strewn with chicken bones, beef scraps (ON THE FLOOR!) and all lazily over the counter-tops. it really looked like someone was making a meat smoothie with out putting a lid on the blender. GROSS! so i did what was long pent up in my vegan arsenal of putting up with cantancurous murder habits of co-living space dwellers. i took to the scissors and cut and pasted all the brutal meat images in pamphets i had in my room, of animals being skinned, bludgened, torturchered and killed with all the included blood and guts of the meat industry reality. took those pictures, pasted them on the table with a note that said, "why don't YOU DIE!" only i didn't write that on the one i actually taped to the picture even though i wanted to... for fear of finding a rotting steak shoved into my un-lockable kitchen cabinet, i wrote, "pick up your meat, it's offensive." luckily to my keen insights onto the human psyche (though sometimes significantly questioned) some of the mates took the sight and picked up the meaty-bits. once i saw that i started some kitchen-clean-up inspiration... i helped take action to do some of the dishes (that i NEVER even use... mine are separate VEGAN-friendly ones) to keep us living out of a garbage zone.
speaking of, the best line in Annie Hall... which i watched today in the library, is when after it's pointed out that LA is so clean, W.A. says, "yeah, they never they throw anything away, they just put their garbage into their television shows," and i want to move to new york.
