Snakes in a School.

Today, two of my personal babies and one I consider my baby went to a school. Boy's (the son of amilyn) school is learning about animals, and this week and next are pet weeks. People bring in their pets and talk about them, show them off and answer questions the kids may have

Thank you! :) It was a fantastic day. I'm still in a good mood from it.

If it's okay with your school, I'd go. Otherwise, I can bring them elsewhere (though probably not mtgat's as her husband is no fan of snakes. ;) ) Or have people over to my place. I love to share them. They are so cool.

Oh wow. I should've known you meant Dante when you said "snake I love like my own." What pretty babies they were today! :D

Aw they are kinda pretty. I didn't freak out seeing the pictures! YAYA! Although the ones where the snake is around your snake made me shudder and scroll faster.

Oh, cool. I didn't even know you had snakes. How did I miss this?

Probably because I haven't posted anything real in an age, and I haven't posted anything on the snakes in about two ages. I have three (Ian, Ava and Theo), and they will be a year old in two months. I should post more recent pics of them.

Dante looks pretty darned impressive when you're holding him....I'm really shocked that more kids didn't freak out then what did. heh

Somehow I missed that you had *two* now. heh. Theo did look pretty good still, even being in the middle of shed. ^_^

There were a few who didn't want to touch Ava (the smallest), let alone Dante, at first. But they warmed up to them after a while. It helped that the classes were studying animals and had read a bit about snakes already. One of their books even had a picture of a reticulated python (what mine are) in it.

I actually have three: Ava, Ian and Theo.

You have a cat that jumps into the bathtub willingly and another who gets around on only three legs. And another who fetches. That's pretty cool! :)

Yeah, it would be hard to drag the bathtub into the class room so Button can do her trick. ;)
