Here's an emotion I'm not used to. Sadness and I rarely run into eachother, but today seems to be an exception to the rule. I'm not depressed really, just... sad

*tilts head curiously* Hmm, bit hard to say based on the sketchy details but I'd say it was a combination of all three. With a large dose of disappointment added in. *hugs* Give the person a day or two then drop a short message saying you realize your timing was off for contacting the person and you would like another chance to talk. That way the other person has the option to contact you at a time when that person is not upset about something.
Wise words. In fact, we've already traded a bit since then. They sent a short offline message apologizing, so it seems that there's no real hard damage done.
Maybe it's the fact that everything you said, was taken in another way than they should have been; making a good point into a huge stone thrown through a window.
That's something that's been happening a bit I've noticed. Sometimes people see what I'm trying to say, and sometimes I just have really poor timing and everything goes the wrong way.
But life happens and I move on. There's no point in worrying too much about the past since it cannot be changed. The future is something that I look forward to every day, and hope is something that I'm never in short supply of.
