Myspace is owned by News Corporation. ...just as bad.

Lot's of people have migrated.
It has the ease of interaction, add-on apps and flexibility of Myspace while keeping the newsfeed format for posts.

Long posts automatically collapse so you don't have ten pages detailing what someone had for lunch today.

You should at least give it a look.

Then come add me just to observe.

I've got to the point where I just don't care.
Sure they're watching, listening and cataloging.
Fuck it.

I don't hold much back when discussing politics in public.
They've already got a huge record for me.

The thing is, I grew up without all of this technology.
...and dirt poor. We learned to survive and evade as a game.
Take everything away from me and I just return to familiar ground.

Define personal.

I don't post much at all. It's just a useful tool for keeping in touch with friends. I prefer my personal journals kept analog.

I just don't get time to check lj much anymore.

Facebook updates have little silly daily minutae. The kind of frequent stuff I wouldn't clutter up people's LJ feeds with.

LJ updates are more likely to relate important things as they occur, or sum up recent happenings, in more detail.
