Use LJ when you have something to really say, instead of just a status update. That's pretty much all I use mine for anymore.

My thought is keep it around for times when you want to vent. But please PLEASE don't post your "tweets." Tweets are soulless and annoying, and usually nonsensical because no one else knows the context.
