This one was fairly simple, and came quickly. No new techniques were learned, although a few were successfully applied that I started with the last card in an effort to keep the cards consistent a little more easily.
Perhaps I should have started with this card. After all, the Fool stands for beginnings. Tarot begins with the fool, and Chrono Trigger begins with Crono. The Fool is a card of energy, optimism, happiness, and force; moving ever forward. This is the card of the unexpected and unplanned, circumstances and events that overturn the status quo. It's also the card of important decisions and choices to be made.
I know, there isn't much to this card, but after yesterday's Lavos I wanted to boil this one down to bare essentials. The bottom-central figure, of Crono with his cat, is a nod to the widely accepted traditional symbolism for this card, of a figure caught in mid-stride, accompanied by a leaping hound. Even when I was first starting to pin down who might go with what card, the syllogism of fool and hound to Crono and his cat stuck in my mind.
