Behind our house, we have a small, two bedroom cottage that we rent out. It helps us pay the bills and it doesn't stand vacant. It's a nice and easy arrangement

Teri wanted me to let you know, anytime you and forrest need to get away from things down there, let us know. You've always got a place to stay at our place, don't even need super advanced notice either. Since we've got a bed in the second bedroom, guests are welcome.

Thanks. You don't know how much we appreciate that. I might take you up on that some weekend soon. If nothing else, just to get away from the family for a little while. :) Plus, I miss you guys.
It would take all my might not to set fire to my own cottage while trouble was in it. Nobody dares shoot a family memeber. And that's what a cat is. A family memeber. I can't believe the police can be so lackadaisical about it all.
Anyway, I really really really sorry to hear about this. I'm sorry for the loss of your cat, and the fear for you life. I know kind of what it feels like because of living next to psychotic people in an apartment complex. No guns were involved though.
All I can suggest is a lawyer. But they are too dang expensive. Just their retainer fees can be anywhere between $500-$2,000
Yeah, you'd think they'd care, right? Maybe get those people out of there earlier. But you have to remember that they're the same police that ignored this little stunt.
I guess it just doesn't matter until or unless someone actually gets killed.
Wow... I mean wow, what freaks! And to do this to you right before a holiday is pure evil. I am very sorry about your cat. I personally would claim that their dog attacked me, and report it to the police, becuase then they would have to jump through a bunch of hoops, and frankly they deserve all the pain you can hand back to them for killing your pet!
Honestly, I think they made up the dog, since they don't have one, and I've never seen a pit bull in the neighborhood. Incidentally they do have a cat - that our cats hate. Or hated. We still have the one cat left.

The police just don't seem to care, though.
