Soundwave Festival- Sydney Park 24th Feb
the verdict-
Bands/Stages-
* Infectious Grooves was by far the best act in my view- but I am Biased :D thier 2nd gig in 11 years... well worth it!!!! :D
* Offspring and Incubus were enjoyable- but I was far too tired after bouncing to Infectious.
* Stage 4- Metal stage was the Awesome- Circle mosh went around the sound tent... nearly lost my shoe careening into some large random metal head- Wheeeee!!!!!
Layout-
* Shite bottle necks between areas- MURDER- squishy bah!!! made us all cram past market stalls.... incedentally the same crappy over priced stalls at Homebake and Big Day out... disapointing
* Hills in Sydney Park used effectively to block noise betwwen stages!!!
* Tons of Toilets- but half were EVIL- no flush open pit toilet portaloos!!! EWWW look down the hole and there you see a cess pit of poo, wee and paper less than 1M from ya bum.... GROSS.... contingency plan to escape was made, just in case someone tipped the portaloo, the second I stepped in (I was busting)
* half had no water to wash hands BUT did have soem random foam which will replace the need to wash hands!!! I THINK NOT BABY PUPPY much water was bought for this reason!!!!
General-
* Damn dusty + smoke machines = blowing black mud out of my nose when I got home!!!
*Silly bitch who couldn't scull and splashed Chris and my Ankles when she spat it out and wasted perfectly good vodka in the line to get in...
* Seeing mates working... Seeing Timmeh on the sidelines of Infectious... *Grins*
all in all I had an awesome day :D thanks V much to mah Gorgeous man Chris for taking me :D
