a most interesting weekend...
I went to my Kelso High School year 12 class of 1997 high school reunion ...
well worth the giggle of going...
I wasn't one of the popular or pretty people, I was the decked out in black art freak... which now loosely translates to one of those emo children before there was emo....
before that in year 8 I used to have waist length blondish hair and I even sported a perm and a hair do which resembles that of eleane from Seinfeld.
so I walked in the door- about half the size I was in year 12, short, short dark brown hair, in tight blue jeans and a simple blue top, nothing fancy, no black! most did a double take and one (I knew from Primary till yr 10) came back over an hour later to apologise... he simply didn't recognise me!!!!
it was a classic...
I forget I'm 28 sometimes... I forget that people get married and have kids... they have mortgages and have to go home early to let the baby sitter go home/go out!!!
I forgot that while some people change and grow up... others not so much..... I forget that for some they see everyone regularly.... and others are like me... and wander off...
I wanted to see, Carla, Pip, Matt and Ben... they weren't there... a shame really but I had a ball either way...
one of the guys has even gone and done reiki masters too... that was a cool chat...
though I think the most amusing thing was at the end as I was leaving I said goodbye and thankyou to the organiser someone I've known since I was 8... she turned to me and said with a huge grin on her face you bitch I can't believe every second person I talked to tonight kept saying they couldn't get over the fact that you got sexy... that made me laugh...
I also spent time with the family- very nice to sit n chat to Mum n Dad, n my lil bro Andy and big sis Sharyn, got to see my sis in law Donna n the kids... missed out seein Rik but you get that....
APPLES
shit me are there heaps of apples on the trees in the orchard... mum made me take 3 shopping bags full of them... so I think its time to do some baking!!!! :D
