Said to myself "the mind is very powerful.. the experiences of meditation come from the power of the mind, but that doesn't lessen meditation in some way,

Wow, great dream! Powerful archetypes and provoking situations in there. If I may, I'd suggest that you edit it and put things in temporal order of the dream, and also change the writing to present tense. Include your dream thoughts/feelings with the situations/scenes that provoked them. Then you will better be able to revisit it later and to work with it if you so choose.
