So, on brainpoker's request I did my translation first thing today, trying to shake up my routine a bit, hopefully make new, less depressed patterns.
...yeah, didn't seem to work so much. Did an hour, only got 1.3 pages. /o\
Spent... waaay too long this evening trying to find an iPad app that deals with series well. Pretty much failed utterly! Ended up with a Calibre->iTunes->iBook hack which puts the series in as part of the title, which... it works? Not what I want, but it works. (I want series to be like albums in iTunes! Yeah, doesn't work like that, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND.) Also another hack which lets me add a 'fandom' column to Calibre which makes it way easier to filter them in iBooks, too.
...what? You expected me to use my tablet to read original fiction? ...well, okay, I have my copy of The Komatsu Wombat and the Fantastical Anticlimax on there, but. Uh. I have enough print books on my to be read shelf, I don't need to acquire more for... quite a while, yet. On the other hand, the AO3 has an export as ebook function, and I might as well use it; means I have a backed up copy in case of dickery, and I can read in bed. (I don't actually have much, yet. Have been downloading things when I feel like rereading, rather than go through my bookmarks. This results in way less time spent going through the bookmarks, and getting distracted and reading 500K+ of fanfic when I actually only wanted that 3K fic over there. Etc. ¬¬;;;)
Then I got heaps distracted by Black 2, which is pretty fun! Mainly I have been levelling, because yes, and also reasons. I'm going for a full pokédex, this time, I think. Haven't done that since Diamond - which I haven't finished, haha, but I got 400+ on that, so. Yes. We'll see! (I'm going to rely on A for oldschool legendaries, though, I think. I've kinda proved I don't have the patience to get the gen 3 ones, move them up to gen 4, then move them up *again* to gen 5. The gen 1 and 2 ones you can mostly get in the gen 4-era gen 2 remakes, so. Yeah. But getting out Ruby and Emerald is... well, they're still my favourite sprites, but I am super super lazy, heh.) (Also my head would be eaten by berries again. Like the Dream World isn't bad enough...)
