My best friend Frank paid me an unexpected visit today and gave me some tasty homemade cinnamon buns. He told me it's tradition on the first day of Spring for heathens to give family and friends treats to wish them good luck. It made me feel appreciated to be a part of that.

Today was my first day of work. Cleaning is very boring but at least I can listen to music and be left alone. I'm happy to have a job!

An e-list I'm part of has really got me thinking about what it means to be a good person. I've been exposed to a lot of new thoughts and ideas lately and they've really opened my eyes to a lot of things I never really think about or take for granted. I'm starting to understand why my non-Christian friends feel so deeply about simple things.

I got a job as a third-shift housekeeper in the same hotel my Mom night manages. Though I'd rather not work with her, I'll be super glad to have an income again!

I'm bored.
