I cannot figure out what has caused this shift I'm pretty sure Iker only knew Cesc's name previously because when he was made captain he made flashcards with everyone's faces on them because he's responsible and ocd like that.
also I'VE ONLY USED TURGID ONCE IN FIC I VERY CLEARLY REMEMBER WHEN I USED IT BECAUSE I WAS LIKE DARE I GO WITH TURGID. I like the word turgid, I think it's disgusting and so are dicks. I mean they're great, but they're so gross looking, and I feel like "turgid" really conveys that simultaneous overwhelming interest and also mild repulse you have when you look at a dick.
Iker has assessed the situation, understands that you guys are going to remain angry, and he is removing Cesc and himself good day sirs. I like how in the beginning Cesc is clearly just leaving, he walks past Iker, then at some point he changed trajectory and came back and got between Iker and the Chileans and there he is in the next frame, looking lost and in over his head.
I just rewatched in on my DVR and I am rather disappointed that Pepe is wearing the glove, however heartened by the fact that Iker has Cesc's other arm and yanks it. And Cesc goes along willingly ahead of him and sort of seems oblivious to Pepe and Iker sort of stumbles and looks almost like he's trying to shake Pepe off of him, or at least get between him and Cesc.
I am rambling. This is what the past few days of proverbial Victorian tit have done to me.

also would like to comment on all six people who ship Iker/Cesc just to let you know that according my scientific knowledge and research (by which I mean I looked at the tags on fbslash, what, I wasn't going to spend actual time on this) Cesc/Iker is actually one of the most popular pairings in this fandom! (I mean, aside from the eternal behemoths of Stevie/Xabi and Sernando, but that's not exactly a surprise. XD) so... I'm not sure where this was going. NONE OF THIS SELF-PITYING DEPRECATION, I think.
annnnd now you have guilted me into writing the summaries I haven't gotten to yet. (please god please send an Agger/Torres shipper if I have to write that one the universe will explode.) ty bb you are the best!
