So I haven't posted in a long time and that is mostly because I don't have time and most of my life is pretty mundane anyway but I just have had enough. After having yet another blow to my plans I'm starting to wonder if this is really all that there is or is ever going to be. I wonder if I am ever going to get anything that I want. I did my part,

We all work with morons. It's part of the curse of being intelligent. Just remember this little exercise. Imagine a person of average intelligence. Someone sitting at 90 - 100 IQ. Try really hard to imagine this person. And then realize that half the world is dumber. Boggles the mind, doesn't it? Hurts even more when you think that half of the surgeons out there operating on people graduated at the bottom half of their graduating class. Try not to dwell on the fact that you can't be an island right now. And I'm not even going to go into the idea of post-partum, because that's a whole other can of worms. Try to buck up, and make a nasty phone call or two to your advisor. That should ease some tension. Coincidentally, which class are you missing?
