Also, the World Beard and Moustache Championships have come to Brighton. This is an odd town at times.

Bored of Brighton? Already? Surely not. People may start to call you fickle.
In 'the second most densely populated city in the country' surely you could go and try to meet some people?

even in 'the second most densely populated city in the country' someone might not want 'some people' in the sense of 'any' people, or 'just people'.
Btw, saving for 'when people come down' is a very good... idea :)
